* SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION!!
If you know of anyone interested in the Brill Sportsmens Club Annual Scholarship please have them download the application and fill it in.
2011 SCHOLARSHIP
* ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET
The clubs annual banquet will be held Saturday night February 4th at the Wagon Wheel in Brill. Bring you and your significant other. Free food, pop and tap beer.
* INTRODUCTION TO TRAP SHOOTING
We are again having an introduction to trap shooting. The event will be the Sunday before the start of the winter league. (Feb. 5th) Time is from noon until 3PM. If you have never shot before and would like to find out more about it you need to come out. There is no cost involved other then the price of shell. Just bring out your shotgun and then you will be all set to shoot on a team starting the following week.
* WINTER TRAP LEAGUE
The winter trap league is also set and ready. The dates are:
Starting Sunday Feb. 12th and every Sunday thru March 25th. We have added one Saturday March 24th. The awards for the winter trap will be held on Sunday April 1st.
Start getting your teams together and come out and shoot.
* SPRING HUNTER SAFETY
We have set the dates for the spring hunter safety education class for 2012. They are April 9th,11th,13th and 14th. If any club member is interested in getting someone signed up for the club just let us know. You can email the instructors at brillasc@hotmail.com for all registrations.
* INDIANHEAD SUNDAY TRAP LEAGUE
The Indianhead league has its dates set and is ready to go. For more info check on the Trap Shooting page.
* NEW EVENT!! PROJECT APPLESEED
The club has decided to try a new even that is designed for men, women, young and old. This is a two day, (you can just come for one) shooting clinic put on by the RWVA (revolutionary war veterans association). It sounds like alot of fun and a good chance to use up some of that 22 ammo that you have had laying around for years.
The dates for the event are going to be May 19th and 20th. There are some costs involved, but it is very reasonable. For more information here is a link to their website and a place where you can register for the even online. This is going to be open to the public so sign up as soon as you can!

* SUMMER FUND RAISER
The club is again looking at sponsoring a fund raiser for a local charity sometime this summer. We have a couple of ideas and are wondering if anyone else out there has a local group that they think would be a good choice for us to sponsor this year.
